GDIT is seeking an Account Growth Director for its Technology Shared Services (TSS) sector. The GDIT TSS team is a horizontal organization that supports all four of GDIT's divisions (FedCiv, FedHealth, Defense, and Intelligence) delivering professional services, managed services, and differentiated capabilities. You will lead TSS's growth engine by partnering with all four division growth teams to support new and recompete opportunities. Additionally, you will support organic growth by partnering with GDIT program teams to staff and deliver technical resources and solutions. You will own the development of a pipeline & support capture strategies including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identify GDIT potential programs/customers, conduct competitive assessments, teaming with suppliers, and develop prices-to-win, and participate in bid and proposal activities. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of growth and strategy development, new business development, and customer relationship management across all levels. HOW AN ACCOUNT DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develop and implement an integrated business development, capture, and proposal strategy that clearly communicates GDIT's TSS value proposition, differentiators, and provides clients with a compelling reason to choose GDIT.
  • Establish value-added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to ensure profitable and winning bids.
  • Collaborate across GDIT to develop marketing aligned with the company's strategic plan.
  • Achieve year-over-year growth aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the TSS growth team through the entire business capture lifecycle, from opportunity identification to post-submission activities.
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of new opportunities in coordination with Delivery Areas.
  • Design and execute customer engagement strategies and collaborate with technical teams to propose solutions.
  • Prepare and present opportunities for executive bid decisions and pipeline reviews.
  • Provide customer insights throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Maintain ongoing interactions with the FedCiv, FedHealth, Defense, and Intel growth teams.
  • Foster broad customer and partner relationships, including travel to customer sites and conferences.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree; additional years of BD experience may substitute for degree.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in Federal Sales/Business Development.
  • Strong background in IT services, lifecycle software development, ERP solutions, and federal civilian + defense mission support offerings.
  • Proven ability to grow and win business within professional and managed services organizations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience in executing within a complex, highly matrixed organization supporting over 250 customers in various delivery models.
  • Experience briefing Fortune 500 executives.
  • Experience across the entire sales funnel, including rapid pursuit execution.
  • Knowledge of Federal/Civilian/Defense budgets, investments, and acquisition processes.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development.

Salary & Benefits:

The expected salary range is $187,000 - $253,000, based on experience, location, and contractual factors. Our benefits include various health plans, 401(k) with match, paid leave, and additional insurance options. We regularly review and update our Total Rewards package to stay competitive.
