Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer with expertise in structural design, analysis, and construction monitoring for projects in the CPG, oil, and gas industries. The role involves using tools like STAAD Pro, RAM Connection, and AutoCAD, and requires familiarity with American codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with brownfield projects, material selection, structural assessments, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure code compliance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Design and Analysis: Design structures like buildings and bridges and analyze them to ensure they can withstand various loads.
  • Software Proficiency: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create structural models.
  • Load and Pressure Measurement: Measure environmental and human-induced loads and pressures.
  • Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
  • Construction Monitoring: Monitor on-site construction, supervise workers, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Project Management: Prepare budgets, track project progress, and collaborate with contractors and project managers.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, designs, and drawings, and provide technical advice.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work with architects, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Inspections and Assessments: Perform site inspections and structural assessments.
Skills Required

  • Exposure to brown filed projects
  • Knowledge in American codes & Standards.
  • Auto Cad
  • CPG Industry/oil. gas with Structural background
Education/Training/Certifications
  • Holding Professional Engineer license. (Preferable states: Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, West Virginia, Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, California...)
  • Engineering (BE /B.Tech /BS/MS)
