Senior Director of Product Marketing

  2025-06-05     Oura     all cities,AK
Description:

At Oura, our mission is to empower every person to own their inner potential. With our award-winning Oura Ring and app, we help over 2.5 million people turn insights about sleep, activity, and readiness into healthier, more balanced lives. We believe that starts from within — by creating a culture where our team feels supported, included, and inspired to do their best work. Our values guide how we show up for each other and our community every day.

We're looking for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the function at ŌURA, with a focus on hardware innovation and cross-platform product experiences. This is a senior, highly visible role responsible for setting strategy, driving customer-centered storytelling, and shaping how we bring our products to life in the market. You'll lead and scale a high-performing team, guide cross-functional GTM work across the org, and help position ŌURA at the forefront of consumer health technology.

You're a systems thinker and team builder who can zoom out to set direction, and zoom in to sweat the narrative, insights, and positioning. You know how to influence at every level of an organization and drive clarity through complexity. And you're excited to lead a function that spans hardware, software, and brand strategy—from product launch to long-term growth.

What you will do:

  • Lead the Product Marketing function at ŌURA, overseeing GTM strategy, product positioning, customer insights, and product storytelling across our full suite of hardware and software experiences.
  • Manage and grow a high-performing team of four, with one new hire in scope immediately and additional team growth in the future.
  • Drive GTM planning for major hardware and cross-platform launches—ensuring alignment between product, marketing, CX, sales, and retail.
  • Own and evolve product positioning and messaging—translating complex technology into simple, compelling stories that resonate with our core customers and new audiences.
  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders across Product, Marketing, and Brand to inform roadmaps, surface insights, and bring discipline to decision-making.
  • Guide and approve strategic narratives, briefs, and content frameworks that drive consistency across campaigns, product surfaces, and customer education.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the organization—ensuring that product marketing is a connective tissue between strategy, execution, and customer understanding.
  • Keep a sharp pulse on market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape, helping ensure our positioning remains clear, differentiated, and ahead of the curve.
  • Lead with influence—shaping priorities and driving alignment across a matrixed, fast-moving organization.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, with significant experience in consumer hardware (e.g., wearables, consumer electronics, IoT devices).
  • A track record of leading successful GTM launches across both physical and digital product experiences.
  • Proven experience as a leader of people and teams, with the ability to coach, mentor, and grow senior talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and compelling across writing, speaking, and visual storytelling.
  • A strong operational mindset—you know how to scale systems, drive prioritization, and keep teams focused without losing creativity.
  • Experience aligning executive stakeholders and driving consensus across Marketing, Product, and CX.
  • Deep customer intuition backed by data—you can connect insights to product strategy and marketing execution.
  • A strategic yet hands-on leader who's not afraid to get in the weeds when needed.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts—you know how to influence and align stakeholders around shared outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in both B2C and B2B2C product marketing environments
  • Background in health tech, wellness, or human performance
  • Experience working with retail and channel partners on product launches
