Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately log received goods into inventory systems.
- Pick, pack, and label items for outgoing shipments.
- Prepare shipping documents and generate labels for carriers like UPS and FedEx.
- Organize and stage outgoing shipments in designated areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Communicate with supervisors or leads about any shipment issues or delays.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Good attention to detail when checking and recording shipments.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward safety and teamwork.
