Assistant Manager

Summary: Help the General Manager with customer service, staffing, safety, cleanliness, daily operations, and cash/inventory control.

Requirements
Retail management experience.
Class E license + Responsible Vendor certification.
Effective communication, leadership, and basic computer skills.

Key Duties

• Support and run store operations.
• Enforce policies, safety rules, and uniform standards.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, customer-ready store.
• Ensure proper cash handling and inventory accuracy.
• Help hire, train, schedule, and coach team members.
• Provide great customer service and resolve issues.

• Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Duties may require standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and occasionally driving.
• Employees must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

• Employees must be able to work in typical store conditions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Employees will be exposed to current outdoor weather, indoor temperatures generally between 68-82°F (with brief exposure from -10 to 100°F).
• Employees may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, or vibration and moderate noise levels.
