About this Job District 08-UNIT 771 Alexandria, LA Job Number: 08/115841/ MEO 12 H 1/05.01.26-LT - District Recruitment for Rapides Parish:The overall function of this position is to utilize all equipment necessary to maintain roadway pavement markings within the 7 parishes of District 08. This position is located in District 08/ Unit 771/ District Traffic Operations Striping Crew. The incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision. The incumbent must be able to interpret and adjust to changing and unforeseen conditions as they arise. Work is generally performed outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions, depending upon the nature of each assignment. The incumbent will participate in DOTD structured training programs as appropriate and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.
