Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for filing, purging, merging and maintain records for individuals supported at PSSC including inactive records.

  • Ensure retention information is being kept or purged as required by guidelines.

  • Ensure all documents are filed in proper section of the record, signatures, dates, times on all entries and documents are signed and dated appropriately.

  • Transport individual records to appropriate clinic or meeting.

  • Organize archive records to comply with legal requirements and PSSC guidelines.

  • Compose and type release information cover letters for APS disclosures. Maintain disclosure log by documenting release of information from record to staff within the facility.

  • Assist and communicate with professional staff concerning problem resolution with regard to individual's health information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator to support the Agency and /or the people we serve.

Position-Specific Details:

Location: Records Management

Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Pass Days: Sat/Sun

Appointment Type:This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, Detail to Special Duty or Job Appointment. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Career Progression: This position may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1 or 2 depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
